Armenian Foreign Minister Attends Feminist Foreign Policy Conference in Paris
The Armenian Foreign Minister, Ararat Mirzoyan, has traveled to France to participate in the 4th Ministerial Conference on Feminist Foreign Policies in Paris.
The two-day conference aims to strengthen and expand international coalitions to preserve women's rights and promote gender equality.
- Initiated by Germany in 2022
- Previously hosted by the Netherlands in 2023 and Mexico in 2024
- Expected to host 450 participants from over 50 countries
Nations with confirmed involvement in feminist foreign policy, including Liberia, Mexico, Spain, and Mongolia, will be represented.
The conference is the only multilateral mobilization event on women's rights outside of the United Nations.
