COMELEC Disqualifies Tarlac City Mayor
The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) has declared Tarlac City Mayor Susan Yap-Sulit ineligible to hold office due to a residency issue.
In a unanimous decision, COMELEC found that Yap-Sulit failed to meet the one-year residency requirement under the Local Government Code.
