PM Distancing Himself from Junkanoo Dispute

Prime Minister Philip "Brave" Davis is distancing himself from the escalating Junkanoo dispute, stating "don't bring me into it" as the government finalizes parade plans.

I'm not involved in that at all because they accuse the matter of being political, and so don't bring me into it.

Mr. Davis has directed the Minister of Youth and Sports and the National Junkanoo Committee (NJC) to handle the matter, leaving it to them.

Critics are skeptical, believing the government is sidelining the JCNP due to its unfavorable position towards the Prime Minister's brother, Trevor Davis, in the Valley Boys dispute.

Author's summary: PM Davis distances himself from Junkanoo dispute.
