Far-Right Protest in Amsterdam
Around 1,000 far-right activists gathered on the Museumplein in Amsterdam to protest about immigration and to "defend the Netherlands".
A heavy police presence was noted, with officers on horseback and a water cannon on standby in case of trouble, following a riot in The Hague last month.
Wij zijn Nederland
was chanted by the crowd, mostly men, as they listened to short speeches. Some carried modern Dutch flags, while others carried the flag used by the Dutch Nazi party.
