Holberg Road Closed Due to Mudslides
A mudslide has closed Holberg Road outside of Holberg, with multiple slides reported in the area.
"The slide occurred on Northeast 60 Road at approximately the 14k mark," said Dane Cameron, the Regional District of Mount Waddington's emergency program coordinator.
According to Cameron, Western Forests Products is assessing the situation to develop an action plan for debris removal. The affected areas include the end of Dombie Hill Road, Victoria Road, and others, with 47 customers currently without power, as reported by BC Hydro.
