The Statesboro Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in locating a suspect in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred on October 25, 2025.
Khalir Nickens, 21, is wanted for the death of 30-year-old Deontre Mincey, a native of Portal, Georgia. Mincey was found murdered in the parking lot of 200 Lanier Drive, a commercial area with a bar and a smoke shop.
