Belleville's Pinnacle Boxing Club Achieves Success

Three pugilists from the Pinnacle Boxing club in Belleville returned with medals from the provincial championships in Windsor, Ontario, placing first, second, and third in their respective weight classes.

“We are extremely disciplined, and we are very focused. Our cardio is second to none in this province, maybe this country, and maybe the world,”

said Blair Crawford, the club's owner and head coach, expressing pride in his team's performance. The team of four boxers, accompanied by their coach, competed in Windsor, with each fight consisting of three three-minute rounds judged by a panel.

Crawford attributed the team's success to their rigorous training regimen, citing his understanding of energy systems and the science of boxing. He noted that Boxing Ontario releases official match schedules three to four weeks prior to the fight dates, requiring his athletes to be consistently ready to compete.
