Police Arrest Suspect in Broad-Daylight Robbery
A 50-year-old man, Daniel Ramos, has been arrested and charged in connection with a robbery at the ib designs jewelry store in Christiansted.
Ramos faces multiple charges related to the incident, which occurred on Saturday at approximately 2:35 p.m. on Company Street.
According to the V.I. Police Department's Criminal Investigation Bureau, a concerned caller reported the robbery in progress, prompting detectives to investigate.
Ramos was previously arrested at the Henry E. Rohlsen Airport for allegedly stealing an air conditioning unit and blower from The Home Depot.
