Janus Henderson Receives Acquisition Proposal

Janus Henderson Group PLC, a London-based active asset manager, has received a nonbinding acquisition proposal from Trian Fund Management L.P. and General Catalyst Group Management LLC, valuing the company at over $7 billion.

The proposal offers $46 in cash for each of the company's ordinary shares not already owned by Trian. Janus Henderson's board of directors will appoint a special committee to consider the offer, which will not include directors affiliated with Trian or General Catalyst.
