PW Star Watch 2025 Finalist: Amina Iro
Amina Iro, an associate editor at Legacy Lit, oversees an eclectic nonfiction list and is helping shape the imprint's ethos.
Iro began her publishing career at Amistad and joined Hachette's Legacy Lit in 2022.
“We hadn’t published any books yet,”Iro recalls.

Iro double-majored in creative writing and neurobiology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and says
