A deal has been reached between Westinghouse Electric, a nuclear power firm owned by Brookfield Asset Management and Cameco Corporation, and the US government.

The agreement, established under the president's executive orders on 23 May 2025, aims to accelerate the deployment of nuclear power and involves the construction of new reactors across the US using Westinghouse nuclear reactor technology.
