Czech President Petr Pavel stated that NATO should be prepared to shoot down Russian aircraft if they violate NATO airspace.
His statement follows a similar remark by Lithuanian Defense Minister Dovile Shakalene, and is in response to alleged Russian violations of Polish and Estonian airspace.
"such incidents worry all of us, because if we are not united, sooner or later it will affect us."
Pavel believes that NATO's response could include the use of force, "including military means."
