Celebrate First Generation Week
UMass Lowell is #1 in What Matters Most! First-Generation (First-Gen) Week Events will take place from November 3-7, 2025.
- Register and join the River Hawk Scholars Academy (RHSA) and your College First Gen Book Den at O'Leary Library, Suite 100.
- Visit the new RHSA space on the first floor of O'Leary Library to leave an inspirational message, play a board game, carve/paint a pumpkin or take a break between classes (Noon-4 p.m.).
- Attend the Spud-tacular First-Gen Celebration on Tuesday, Nov. 4 (11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.) at Coburn Hall, Room 255, and enjoy the potato bar with the College of Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.
