Court hears suspected Russian proxies traveled to Germany, Switzerland after Paris raid

Suspected Russian Proxies on Trial for Defacing Paris Holocaust Museum

Four Bulgarian men are on trial in Paris for their alleged roles in defacing the Holocaust Memorial last year.

The suspects, accused of participating in tagging the museum and dozens of other Parisian buildings with red hand impressions, allegedly received instructions in Russian via Telegram.

French investigators suspect that after the Paris raid, the suspected Russian proxies traveled to Germany and Switzerland, where they might have been involved in other provocative acts.

The prosecution suspects the May 2024 raid was part of Moscow’s undeclared but multi-faceted hybrid war on the continent.
