Curriculum Structure
The Physical Science strand focuses on matter, energy, Earth, and space, while the Biological Science strand explores topics like organisms, genetics, and ecosystems. The content also highlights prominent scientists in these areas.
Consultation and Implementation
The draft is open for six months of consultation and is due to be introduced to schools in 2027, following a long-awaited rewrite that was put on hold at the 2023 election and paused again in 2024.
