A former Towson University professor has filed a lawsuit alleging wrongful termination after reporting conflicts of interest in a faculty hiring process.

According to the lawsuit, filed in late September, Brian Gorman, a tenured professor in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Criminal Justice, was fired after whistleblowing.
