Pagcor Opens Socio-Civic Centre Near Taal Lake Volcano
The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp (Pagcor) has opened its 50th socio-civic centre nationwide in Barangay San Gregorio, Laurel, Batangas, near the active Taal Lake volcano.
The PHP50-million (US$852,600) facility will serve as an evacuation site in emergencies and a venue for social and community activities.
