Meridian High School Sports Update
The regular season for fall sports at Meridian High School is nearing its end, with all programs except football having completed their scheduled games.
Football, with two regular season games left, recently bounced back with a 56-14 win over Warren County on Senior Night, bringing their record to 4-4.
Field hockey ended their regular season with a thrilling win over Fauquier, extending their winning streak to 14-1 and securing the top seed in the Northwestern District playoffs.
Meridian High School's field hockey team will enter the playoffs as the top seed.
The football team will look to move above .500 when they play at Skyline on Friday.
