Msida Creek Flyover Structure Completed
The steel structure forming the new Msida Creek flyover is officially complete after the final section was installed.
All six sections of the steel structure were designed and manufactured locally, with the project reaching this milestone in under a year.
“Both the bridge and flyover will help us create a new open public space in the heart of Msida, while a new canal will address the area’s long-standing flooding issues,”
said Transport Minister Chris Bonett. The new bridge linking Msida and Pietà will open to vehicles in the coming weeks, while the flyover is set to open by the end of the year.
