The World Health Organisation is facing a crisis of confidence, with trust in international institutions steadily declining.
According to experts, this decline is due to several factors, including political bias, inconsistent crisis communication, bureaucratic inertia, and a lack of accountability, leading to a phenomenon known as ‘institutional contagion’.
