John Ferretti Wins Hempstead Supervisor Race
Incumbent Town of Hempstead Supervisor John Ferretti has declared victory over Democratic candidate Joseph Scianablo.
Ten supervisor seats were up for election across Long Island, along with several council positions and a mayoral post.
"We took all three towns,"
said Nassau Republican Committee Chairman Joseph G. at the Nassau County GOP election headquarters.
- In North Hempstead, Supervisor Jennifer DeSena declared victory.
- In Oyster Bay, Supervisor Joseph Saladino was reelected.
Nassau Republicans retained all three supervisor seats in the county.
