A Bay Shore company, Made Fresh Salads Inc., is recalling its macaroni salad and tuna salad due to the presence of listeria monocytogenes.
- 5 lb. containers of "Macaroni Salad" are subject to recall
- 5 lb. containers of "Tuna Deluxe Salad" are subject to recall
an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, the elderly and those with weakened immune systems
The company advises consumers to return the recalled salads to the place of purchase for a full refund.
