Liberia Launches 100-Acre Upland Rice Harvest

In Zota District, Bong County, a landmark moment for rural agriculture in Liberia took place with the launch of a 100-acre upland rice harvest.

The ceremony, which was held in the heart of Kpaquelleh Clan, Shankpallai, Zota District, was attended by hundreds of villagers, local leaders, and guests, including Bong County Superintendent Loleyah Hawa Norris.

The initiative is a result of a partnership between the Panta Pride Foundation (PPF) and Collective Impact Liberia (CIL), aiming to promote modern farming and community empowerment in Bong County.

The launch was described as a turning point for rural agriculture in Liberia.
