Actor Chad Michael Murray recently disclosed a personal secret he has never shared with his wife, Sarah Roemer. Known for his roles in television and film, Murray opened up about his family, fatherhood, and his hopes for the future.
During an episode of Cosmopolitan’s Blind Date, the Gilmore Girls star was asked what his wife doesn’t know about him. Murray, who shares three children with Roemer—a ten-year-old son, an eight-year-old daughter, and a one-year-old daughter—admitted that he hopes to expand their family.
“Probably that I secretly want more kids. I think four kids would be awesome. However, it’s probably not a great idea. This last one is really, whoof, she’s a wild card. She’s one... She’s the baby boss.”
Murray has previously discussed parenthood, expressing how deeply it shapes his outlook. In a past interview with The Everygirl, he described children as a source of profound learning and inspiration.
“Children are the best reflection in the world.”
He also spoke about his upbringing with his father Rex, who raised him and five siblings as a single parent. Murray credits his father’s example as a guiding influence in his own life as a parent.
“I always told myself if I could be half the man that my dad was then I’m doing alright.”
The actor conveyed deep gratitude toward his father, acknowledging the challenges and devotion required to raise a large family alone. His reflections reveal a man striving to embody the empathy and strength he witnessed growing up.
Murray’s heartfelt confession highlights his love for family, admiration for his father, and quiet dream of adding another child to their lively household.
