ICC Men’s T20 Rankings: Abhishek and Chakravarthy Lead; Hardik Pandya Fourth Among All-rounders

Young Indian opener Abhishek Sharma and spinner Varun Chakaravarthy continue to hold top positions in the latest ICC Men’s T20 Players’ Rankings released on Wednesday.

Top Batters

Abhishek Sharma leads the batters' list with 925 rating points, ahead of England’s Phil Salt and Tilak Verma. T20 skipper Suryakumar Yadav is the only other Indian in the top 10, positioned eighth.

Abhishek Sharma was the leading run-scorer for India during the Asia Cup earlier this year.

Leading Bowlers

Varun Chakaravarthy retains his lead among T20I bowlers. Following him are West Indies’ Akeal Hosain and Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan. Australia’s Josh Hazlewood made significant progress, rising two spots to tenth after strong performances against India.

Varun Chakaravarthy is the only Indian bowler in the top 10 of the T20 bowlers’ rankings.

All-rounders Rankings

Hardik Pandya is the sole Indian among the top 10 T20 all-rounders, holding the fourth position. The list is led by Pakistan’s Saim Ayub, followed by Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza and West Indies’ Roston Chase.

Pakistan showed promising advancement with several players improving just months before hosting the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
