Rapper Young Bleed Dies from Brain Aneurysm, Family Confirms

Glenn Clifton Jr., known as Young Bleed and celebrated for his hit single "How You Do Dat" as well as his connections with No Limit Records, passed away at 51. He performed at the Cash Money - No Limit Verzuz concert in Las Vegas on October 25th. Following the event, Clifton celebrated with friends and performed again late into the night before collapsing.

"Before they could get to him, he was out of oxygen for a while, and that's when they told us that he had no life in the brain," said Clifton's mother, Florida Allen.

Clifton suffered a brain aneurysm that led to cardiac arrest, and he died on November 1st. He is survived by his mother and five children.

"Nobody ever expected him to, you know, not come home; he's never not done that," said his son, Ty'Gee Clifton.

The family shared that Clifton had no major health problems prior to the incident, aside from high blood pressure.

"I'm going to miss him, I'm not mad because he is gone, he left doing what he loved doing," Allen added.

Career Beginnings

Young Bleed began his rap career in Baton Rouge as part of the hip-hop group "Concentration Camp," which was formed in 1995.

His sudden passing marks the loss of a respected artist who remained active in music until the end.
