JD Vance Responds to Criticism on Interfaith Marriage
Vice President JD Vance pushed back against criticism regarding his interfaith marriage to Second Lady Usha Vance.
A reporter, Ezra Levant, made a comment on X, stating:
“It’s weird to throw your wife’s religion under the bus, in public, for a moment’s acceptance by groypers.”Groypers refer to white nationalists who are fans of far-right streamer Nick Fuentes.
This criticism arose after Vance attended a Turning Point USA event, where he expressed hope that his wife, Usha, a Hindu, would one day become Catholic.
In response to Levant's post, Vance called it
“anti-Christian bigotry”.
