Actor Chad Michael Murray, best known for his roles in “Freaky Friday” and “A Cinderella Story,” recently shared a heartfelt moment with his eldest daughter, Audrey, who made her first television appearance. The 8-year-old joined him on “The Drew Barrymore Show” on November 5, marking her debut in front of the cameras.
During his interview with Drew Barrymore, Murray spoke about fatherhood and his three children. While he chatted on stage, Audrey stayed behind the scenes until Barrymore asked if she could meet her.
“Would it be possible for us to meet her, is that OK? If not, I’m so sorry I asked,” Barrymore said.
“You know what, she’s ready,” Murray replied. “My sweet little daughter, no one ever really gets to meet her, but she’s ready.”
After appearing on stage, Audrey quickly bonded with Barrymore over their favorite foods and a shared love for the Netflix film KPop Demon Hunters.
“Where have you been all my life?” Barrymore exclaimed as they chatted.
Murray, 44, shares Audrey with his wife, actress Sarah Roemer. He revealed that his daughter and her younger sister often watch KPop Demon Hunters repeatedly and even perform scenes from it at home.
“We have Alexa on replay all the time. Her and her little sister are constantly doing KPop Demon Hunters to a tee. She knows them all,” Murray said.
Audrey admitted with a smile that she “lost interest on [her] 300th time.” This rare public appearance offered fans a glimpse into the actor's private family life, showing a proud father supporting his daughter’s first steps into show business.
