From January 31 to February 15, 2026, cinemas and media libraries throughout France will host the Mycéliades science fiction festival, centered on the theme of resilience. The event will unfold across nearly 160 pairs of venues, combining screenings, workshops, and encounters with creators and science communicators.
This edition invites audiences to explore the concept of resilience in the face of climate, energy, and food challenges. The program will connect cinema, books, video games, and comics to highlight how these mediums reflect humanity’s capacity to adapt and endure.
Festivalgoers will have the chance to rediscover notable titles such as Train to Busan, Flow, Oblivion, Snowpiercer, Mad Max, and Nausicaä.
"It's an opportunity to try to avoid the end of the world together, reflect on the construction of habitable worlds, and face crises during this festival."
Events in media libraries are generally free, while cinema screenings depend on each theater’s pricing. Detailed schedules and programs will be published soon on the official website.
